Bay Stimulus
On May 24, 2009, Bay Community Church in Daphne, Alabama gave away a
total of $50,000 split into envelopes containing $20, $40, or $100 to
every person in their audience. They asked those receiving the money to
do something good with it, but they also encouraged the members to be
creative with how they gave out the money. They wanted them to not just
give the money to the first person that they came across, but instead
they wanted them to really think about the best way that they could do
the most good. Bay Stimulus Package explores how these people decided
what to do with their money, and furthermore, it delves into what
happens to this money down the line by looking at the consequences,
intended or not.
